Who Should Submit?
We welcome abstracts from scholars, practitioners, artists, and activists working on migration-related issues. Submissions that propose innovative methodological approaches, are particularly encouraged.

How can researchers critically examine their roles, assumptions, and ethical responsibilities when engaging with migrant communities?
● Collaborative and Participatory Research Methods
Approaches that involve migrants as active participants or co-researchers, emphasizing shared ownership and decision-making in the research process.
● Arts-Based Methodologies
The use of creative methods—such as participatory photography, digital storytelling,theatre, and visual arts—to document and analyze migration experiences in innovative and ethically sound ways.
● Ethical Representation of Migrants
Strategies for countering dehumanizing or reductive portrayals of migrants in research, media, and public discourse.
● Arts as Advocacy and Social Change
Exploring how creative projects can raise public awareness, influence policy, and promote social justice for migrant communities.
● The language of the conference is English.
